Welcome in to Beast the Odds, back and better than ever to prepare you for your 2017 Fantasy Football draft. In this edition, we will look at the Best Value Wide Receivers for this season. Our best value wide receivers are all being drafted in the 10th round or after and are poised to have big fantasy impact.
Best Value Wide Receivers
Rishard Matthews, Tennessee Titans
Matthews had a breakout season last year accounting for 9 TD catches and has built a real rapport with QB Marcus Mariota. The Titans added Eric Decker this off season but don’t let that scare you off. Decker is not the deep threat he once was in Denver and will do little to impact the target share of Matthews. Matthews is currently being drafted in round 10 in standard leagues.
Josh Doctson, Washington Redskins
Doctson is coming off a rookie season which was cut short due to an Achilles injury. Doctson was the Redskins first round pick whom they hoped would grow into taking the place of upcoming free agents Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson. The Redskins offense is one of the best in the league and with both free agent wide receivers off the roster, Doctson will be afforded the opportunity to shine. Doctson is currently being drafted in the 12th round in standard leagues.
