Start EM Sit EM Week 11

Welcome to Beast the Odds, back and better than ever with Start EM Sit EM Week 11 edition. The pain of the BYE weeks is almost over. This week we have the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, New York Jets and San Diego Chargers off. Several key players on these teams that you need to find a replacement for this week. From Julio Jones and Matt Ryan, to Philip Rivers and Melvin Gordon. This will be a tough one. Last week was not our week, none of our Start recommendations went over 10 points and two of our must sit players had monster game. Bu we are back this week to redeem ourselves and help you get the win. Here are this week’s Start ‘EM Sit ‘EM picks.

WR Eli Rogers, Pittsburg Steelers

At the beginning of the year it looked like Eli Rogers was set to be the next guy up for the Pittsburg Steelers behind Antonio Brown. He posted 13 fantasy points in week 1 but was then sidelined with injuries for several weeks. Since his return Rogers has been one of Big Ben’s favorite targets posting 10 catches for 145 yards and a touchdown over the last two weeks. Coming up for the Steelers, the lowly Cleveland Browns. Since this is a divisional match-up I anticipate the Browns playing tough and keeping it close, however, the second half will be all Steelers. Look for Rogers to be targeted often and capitalize with a big game.

RB Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Doug Marin is finally back! Last week Martin returned to action against the Chicago Bears after missing a whopping seven weeks with a hamstring injury. The Buccaneers went through several running back options searching for a comparable replacement. None of which did much with the opportunity or remained healthy. This week the Buccaneers travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. The Chiefs defense has been a turnover creating machine but they have given up yards and points in bunches on the ground. Martin will see the ball early and often and will make good on his opportunities. Martin is a solid option at RB2 with big upside. This is our #1 Start for Start Em Sit Em Week 11.

RB Robert Kelley, Washington Redskins

This year has not been different than any other years when it comes to the confusion that is the Washington Redskins backfield. There hasn’t been a clear cut #1 running back in Washington since Clinton Portis, and boy that has been a while. This year started with everyone thinking that Matt Jones was going to be the work horse. There were times where he made good on that and performed well. However, the running duties have been handed over to Robert Kelley moving forward. Last week Kelley made good on his 22 carries, posting 97 yards against a stingy Minnesota Vikings defense. The running lanes will be a little easier this week at the Redskins travel to Green Bay on Sunday night.

Check out the highlights from the Week 10 win over the Vikings.

WR Rishard Matthews, Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have discovered a sneaky good passing attach. Marcus Mariota is 4th in the NFL in passing touchdowns and one of the reasons why is the emergence of WR Rishard Matthews. Matthews has caught 6 touchdowns in the last 6 games. The Titans running attack has opened things up downfield and Matthews is the benefactor. The Titans are heading to Indianapolis to take on the Colts this week in a division match-up that has heavy playoff implications. The Colts have are in the top 10 in points allowed to WRs but that has been a results of their match-ups not their talent.

WR Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles

RB Chris Ivory, Jacksonville Jaguars

QB Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals ( #1 Sit for Start Em Sit Em Week 11 )

TE Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
