Welcome to Beast the Odds, back and better than ever with Start EM Sit EM Week 14. The Fantasy Football Playoffs are here. Congratulations to all of you out there who have been following along and have found your way into the playoffs. Just a few more week so of making the right decisions and you will find yourself in the championship circle and most likely a few dollars richer. This is what it is all about. This week I am going deeper and offering even more advice on more players. Keep in mind I am available 24 hours a day 7 days’ week on Twitter for all your questions. Let’s do this!
WR Golden Tate, Detroit Lions
Look out league, the Detroit Lion on making a playoff push. Matthew Stafford is having a MVP caliber season and the defense is coming together. One of the players who finds themselves benefiting from these facts is Golden Tat. Tate is having an amazing season, fantasy or otherwise. Known in previous seasons as being a target monster, Tate has also become a down the field threat. This week the Lions are taking on one of their division rivals, the Chicago Bears. Outside of the performance last week against the 49ers the Bears have been giving up over 28 points a game and have only forced 1 TO in the previous 3 games. Look for the Lions to move the ball at will and for Tate to have another great week. No way we were leaving him off our Start EM Sit EM Week 14.
RB Thomas Rawls, Seattle Seahawks
Thomas Rawls is back. For anyone who was having doubts, his performance against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night proved it. The top back in Seattle has seen his touches increase week by week since his return in week 11. This week the Seahawks travel to Green Bay. This match-up has major playoff implications and the weather is going to be cold and possibly snowy. This will force both teams to adjust their game plans and should benefit Rawls greatly. It is that time of year for Seattle, the time when they show the NFC who is boss. Rawls will roll over the Packers this week.
WR Kenny Britt, LA Rams
Kenny Britt owners lucked out last week when he scored a late TD to pad the stats. He we held to just 2 catches but the 1 big one saved the day. Britt is averaging over 15 years per catch this season and is clearly the only option in the Rams depleted wide receiver corps. This week the Rams welcome in the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense has not come together at all this season. They are next to last in total defense and have allowed nearly 30 points per game. The Rams offense has not been special but it has proven that when they get down, they are not afraid to air it out. Britt will benefit from that scenario this week.
QB Any Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals
What? Start Andy Dalton? That’s right, I am saying it. Dalton has been steady at best this season, and the loss of AJ Green has not helped him the last few weeks. However, Dalton has been more accurate with deep passes in recent games and has begun to find his red zone target Tyler Eifert. This week the Bengals are traveling to face the win less Cleveland Browns. The Browns defense is last in the league in all major statistical categories. The one thing that could slow down Dalton is a pass rush, unfortunately the Browns defense has only produced 3 sacks in the last four games. Dalton posted a good game when he faced the Browns earlier this season, posting 24 fantasy points. Dalton is our #2 Start EM Sit EM Week 14. Dalton should explode this weekend.
